The Client: An American furniture manufacturer and retailer, headquartered in Virginia, United States. One of the oldest furniture manufacturers with revenues of over $450 million and nearly 100 locations in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Business Challenge:
- Their Infrastructure was aging and past support.
- Their backup WAN was not working consistently or reliably
- Their WiFi coverage had dead zones in certain locations.
Engagement:
We received an introduction to the CIO and were given the opportunity to explain our turnkey, end-to-end approach to IT Networking Infrastructure. They immediately liked the approach as their staff was stretched thin and they needed a partner that would “own it end-to-end”.
What was our approach?:
We refreshed their router, access switches and access points with Meraki. We redesigned wireless coverage with wireless site surveys and radio design. We installed a BB circuit into every site giving them internet offload and a reliable failover path.
Results:
Renewed and upgraded network with seamless failover. We covered their stores wall-to-wall with WiFi and enabled the ability for guest access. We proactively manage their network and handle incidents, freeing up their IT staff. We continually collect data (Meraki APs) which can be used for customer analytics.
