About Us

Corporate Citizenship

Acuative cares about important issues in our communities and the environment.

Community Involvement

Whether it’s working to help raise money to find a cure for cancer, collecting food for those in need or sponsoring families over the holidays, we are dedicated to helping the people and communities in which we operate.

Below are a few of the charities that Acuative has supported over the years:

Achievement Centers for Children's Camp Cheerful – Children and adults with disabilities participate in a variety of recreational activities that encourage confidence and independence, and create opportunities for lifelong friendships while having fun and improving their quality of life.

Adopt A Family Association – Provides a short-term safety net and caring support to families in crisis who are working to maintain a stable home environment for their children as they overcome traumatic socioeconomic circumstances.

ALS Association - The only national non-profit organization fighting Lou Gehrig's Disease/Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) on every front, including research, public policy, care services, and public education and awareness.

Employees at our Global Technology Center in Cleveland, Ohio, purchased raffle tickets to win the opportunity to dump the ice water on a manager of their choice. All proceeds from the raffle and a bake sale held in the facility were donated to ALS.

American Cancer Society - Works relentlessly with millions of supporters worldwide to save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Berea Children’s Home and Family Services – Strives to provide the highest quality services to children and families in need.

Children’s Specialized Hospital - New Jersey – The largest pediatric rehabilitation health system in the U. S., dedicated to improving the lives of patients by delivering superior medical services through a blend of innovative therapies, personalized attention, and compassionate support.

Coats for Kids - Cleveland – Aims to put a coat on every child in need during the winter seasons in Northeast Ohio.

Harvest for Hunger – One of the largest annual, community-wide food and funds drives in the nation – providing critical resources to local hunger relief organizations.

Littlest Heroes – Serves children with cancer and their families by providing services to families and health care facilities free of charge.

Reach Out and Read – Promotes early literacy and school readiness in pediatric exam rooms nationwide by giving new books to children and advice to parents about the importance of reading aloud.

Retail Orphan Initiative (ROI) - This retailer-led charity funds feet on the street charities helping vulnerable children worldwide.  At the 2015 National Retail Federation Expo and Convention in New York City, Acuative supported ROI and the More Than Me organization, a school in Monrovia, Liberia, for children orphaned by Ebola. The founder of More Than Me, Katie Meyler, was selected as a Time Magazine Person of the Year in January 2015 for her efforts.

In addition to Acuative's corporate sponsorship of ROI and More Than Me, employees participated in a company-wide 50/50 raffle and all proceeds were donated to the cause. For more information on the impact made by Katie Meyler and the More Thank Me organization, click here.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure – The world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures.

The Ronald McDonald House® of Cleveland – Offers a place to call home at little or no cost so families can access the best health care, regardless of their location.

United Way - Improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of people and resources to advance education, income, and health to communities around the world.

Environmental Sustainability

leafIn addition to our community involvement, Acuative takes its role in the environment seriously and actively promotes environmental sustainability through recycling.

Our commitment to the environment is put into practice through two corporate initiatives.

  • First, our corporate recycling policy – each of our offices recycles paper and aluminum cans.
  • Second, as a technology company we update and deploy new technology on an ongoing basis which leads to a surplus of outdated equipment. Instead of disposing this equipment in the trash, Acuative has implemented a “No Landfill Policy” – all computer and electronic items are sent to a certified green vendor for processing and recycling.
